The ‘Possibility', a 16-ton HDPE power boat equipped with an onboard engine for the first time domestically, is constructed with materials specialized for high-performance ships. It serves as a high-speed rescue and pilot boat for both domestic and overseas maritime police and navies. Its innovative linear design and hull structure enhance speed and fuel efficiency, all while utilizing an eco-friendly electric system, advocating for sustainable marine environments.
High-density polyethylene (Marine HDPE) is used as the main material, applying a material specialized for High Performance Boat, jointly developed by Lotte Chemical and DH Co.
Designed using AeroDynamics linear technology developed by DH Co., the boat achieves a 5% speed enhancement and a 25% rolling reduction. The hull structure combines aluminum & HDPE, aiming to increase the success rate of all-weather military operations.
Using a Lithium Iron Phosphate battery (30KWh) as the primary power source, it has a solar charging capacity of 10kW per day. This means the diesel generator is mainly used for emergencies, contributing to fuel savings and environmental protection.
